Electricians compete for first place at the IDEAL Nationals Championship

        IDEAL National Qualifiers Day is coming to Willow Electrical Supply in Schiller Park, IL on June 28th, 2018. IDEAL Industries, nation’s leading electrical supply and tool company is once again hosting their National Championship this year. Leading up to the main event in December, IDEAL will be hosting many qualifying events throughout the country. Willow Electrical Supply is proudly hosting two events this year, one at the Schiller Park location, followed by a second event at our Chicago branch. Participants can compete either as individuals, or as a team in either the Journeymen or Apprentice category. Subsequently, the fastest competitors will be invited to the main event in December at the beatiful Disney® Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Electricians compete for $500K in Cash & Prizes

         The IDEAL National Qualifying events are a great way to compete with other industry professionals and test your skills. In conclusion, competing individuals will need to demonstrate their problem solving and physical skills. Overall, the qualifying event tests one’s cutting, stripping, terminating,as well as testing skills all while working on a preassembled electrical platform. Start time is 10AM, food and refreshments will be provided. We’ll have especially prized IDEAL merchandise on sale all day! Ultimately, qualified individuals will advance to the National event in Florida. To summarize, this year’s top prizes include:

INDIVIDUAL – PROFESSIONAL

1st place – $75,000 | 2nd place – $25,000 | 3rd place – $10,000

INDIVIDUAL – STUDENT/APPRENTICE

1st place – $30,000 + $5,000 to the trade school | 2nd place – $20,000 | 3rd place – $10,000

TEAM – PROFESSIONAL

1st Place – $60,000

TEAM – STUDENT/APPRENTICE

1st Place – $30,000 + $5,000 to the trade school
