Dennis Heinol Bud Lorden Fundraiser 2019

The Bud Lorden Invitational Softball Tournament was started over 26 years ago in California to honor the man that brought “Big Ball” to the West Coast. Bud died of Lung Cancer. Henceforth his family and teammates wanted to remember him for bringing the game there from Chicago.

Conversely, our customer – Steve Heinol (Steve Heinol Electric) has played in the “Bud Invitational” for 18 years now. To this day he continues to make the trip out west with his group of friends.

Nonetheless, over the years a lot of his family and friends have been stricken with cancer, including Steve’s father – Dennis. Moreover, Steve decided to start the Chicago Invitational as a way of raising money for cancer research. Once again this year Steve’s friends from California will be here to show their support.

Given that this is a non-profit event, and all proceeds will go to cancer research. More importantly, Steve is looking for donations to be used as raffle or silent auction items. Additionally, I’d like to invite everyone to attend this great event. Further, Steve is looking for people to join his fundraiser. In addition to volunteering, this is a great way to meet new people.
