Willow Electrical donates a new scoreboard to a local school in Lockport, IL. Explicitly, St Dennis’ gymnasium will be the home to a new state-of-the-art scoreboard serving its students for years to come.
By and large, every chance we get members of Team Willow volunteer their time or money to a great cause. From donating electrical products, fixtures or simply offering a helping hand at events. In fact, our company donated over twenty-one pallets of lamps to various NGOs in 2017. Furthermore, this year Willow Electric’ leadership joined together to make the St Dennis project a success.
“We always strive to give back to the community. We do it as a company, and also encourage our employees to do the same in the communities where they live” said Mark Matoga, Willow’s Lighting Manager.
St Dennis parish is part of the Joliet Diocese. Moreover, the school was formed in 1881 (yes you’ve read that right) with 218 students currently attending. This is one of the oldest Catholic schools in the state of Illinois. For more information on becoming a St Dennis volunteer please contact Father Jim at secretary@saint-dennis.org.
Giving
Willow Electrical Supply donates to various groups and organizations on regular basis. All things considered, donations don’t have to be monetary. Often times, one can donate his/hers time, services, used clothing or food. In effect, its more about doing good deeds than the monetary items. In addition, donating is one of those gifts that keep on giving. Your donations help others, while they can also inspire your dearest to give to causes important to them. Finally, charity introduces your children to the importance of generosity, and feels great. Consequently, we encourage everyone reading this to get involved in their local communities, and charities of choice.
